According to IMO Resolution MSC.273 (85), adopted in December 2008, some modification to the ISM Code will come into force on 1st July 2010.
Among the objectives of such modifications, there is the inclusion in the SMS Manual of a "evaluation of all indentified risks for ships, personnel and environment and the definition of appropriate precautionary measures".
As a consequence of these modifications, "the Company have to establish procedures, instructions, including checklists where appropriate, for the key operation on board" not only limited " to ship safety and pollution prevention" but also concerning "personnel safety and environmental protection".
For this reason Cons.a.r. is available and prepared to make the updating of SMS plans according to new regulations.
