ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS (ISO/EMAS)
Since September 2006 Consar has started a new consortium service offering standardised consulting support to the shipping companies (the ones associated to Consar and to Confitarma ) for the implementation and assistance for the certification of the Environmental Management Systems according to ISO 14001 rules and Emas regulation. The service has cheapness and standardization characteristics because it aims to disseminate an environmental culture and sensitivity through the largest possible diffusion of the environmental management systems among the national operators. It aims to the environmental excellence of the Italian merchant fleet. After the implementation and certification phase Consar also carries out follow-up and auditing services.
QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (ISO 9000)
The support service to the shipping companies has been launched by Cons.a.r. for the implementation and assistance to the certification of the Quality System according to ISO 9000.

GARBAGE MANAGEMENT PLAN
(Amendment Reg. 2 and new Reg. 9 - Annex V - MARPOL 73/78) (Italian and English bilingual version ) The plan is aimed to regulate all the operations concerning collection, processing and disposal of the garbage produced on board the ship. Also the on-board record books for the recording of the quanttity of on board garbage treated (incinerator-ground disposal – ecc.) are produced and taylored for the single ship.
HACCP MANUAL (D.L. 155/97) - bilingual version (Italian/English)
The Italian legislative decree n.155 of the 26.05.97 introduces the obligation for the analysis of the risks in the food producing and preparation process (HACCP) through the assessment of critical steps and points to be submitted under control. All the companies, which perform the preparation, the transformation, the production, the storage, the transport, the distribution, the handling, the sale or the supply, included the giving to the consumer, must adopt this procedure during their activity.
SOPE Plans (SHIP OIL POLLUTION AND EMERGENCY PLAN)
SOPE Plan is drafted in the respect of the requirements (rule 26, annex I of MARPOL 73) and includes all the subsequent modifications : (1978 protocol (Marpol 73/78) requirements and MEPC.54(32) requirements
