RITMARE

In the field of the National Maritime Technological Platform (PTNM) a discussion is in progress about the possibility to present some proposals for the development of national research activities.
Proposed themes partially recover the SRA (Strategic Research Agenda) ones of the European Technological Platform (and described in the Waterborne Vision 2020 document) and partially those described into the RIEMARE document and are subdivided into the following interest areas:
- Safe, sustainable and effective waterborne operations
- A competitive European Maritime Industry
- Manage & facilitate growth & changing trade patterns
- Technologies for sustainable fishing
- Technologies for the sustainable management of the coasts
- International network of laboratories for the Mediterranean Sea
- Fitting of national research infrastructures.

CONS.A.R., as Confitarma representative, is present in the elaboration phase of the priorities as coordinator of the third working team concerning the "Transport System". The thematic areas under the direct CONS.A.R. responsibility are the following:

- Safe, sustainable and effective waterborne operations
- Manage & facilitate growth & changing trade patterns
